busy during quarantine

Here are a few examples of the work Ledger has been up to.  This isn't even a fraction of a percent of what he's been drawing!  This kid has blown through over 800 pages of comic panels!
Rolly playing around with his wings!
Yeah, I don't get this one either, but we certainly had a good laugh about it!
This is one in a series titled 'Rolly puts his head in stuff'...
Rolly goes out in the cold.
A little bug gets some super sugary drink.

more artwork

Ledger decided to take some of the Star Wars characters and draw them as Rolly!  He's got the Sarlak Pit, a Stormtrooper, Boba Fett, An AT-AT, BB-8, R2D2, and a Porg.  What a goofy kid!
Another fine portrait of Rolly.
Ledger often illustrates word play, but this one really cracked me up.  This one is a play on the old game 'the floor is lava'.  So silly!

ledger's drawings

A collection of photographs of pets that have come and gone...
A skeleton playing the organ.
The ghosty scared away the pirate man.  (this is a reference to something that happened when we went trick-or-treating last year...)
A funny interaction between Jack Skellington from Nightmare Before Christmas and Moonlight Jack!

A collection of different little robot characters being silly.
It says 'I'm covered in ketchup and I AM ketchup which makes it more embarrassing.'
his illustration of his beloved robot clanky!
A very flustered octopus who is trying to do too many tasks at once.

ledger's art

quite an assortment of Mario and spongebob characters!
more silly balance art!
playing with daddy's work badge...
a silly post-it that ledger drew a while ago and put on the fridge.  its still there...
a note ledger drew for mama so she would make him some waffles!

ledge drawing

really focusing on getting it just right...
drawing a christmas scene, while chomping on his candy cane...

homemade ornaments

in preschool, ledger and his class made some beautiful ornaments for the tree- we made sure to hang up all of them this year!
of course he put a face on his candy cane, he puts faces on everything!  but what impresses me is just how expressive the faces are!  look at that thing, its winking with a sideways smile- he's 4 years old!?!  amazing!
so cute!
