wii have fun

That kid was bouncing off the walls, he was having so much fun!
Showing off his form to Mama.
Show us how it's done, bowling pro!
My Nintendo shelves.  The bottom has the NES and Super, the middle shelf has the Gamecube, Game Boy, and Game Boy Color, the top shelf has the Wii and the Switch.  I took the photo before I found my N64, but I've since hooked that one up too.  Oh, and just in case, there's a VCR under the bottom shelf.  You never know, right?

real life rolly!

The drawing of Rolly that Ledger made to be sent in.
Excited to open it up and see it!
Rolly looks amazing!  They even made the donut hole and everything!
Marveling at the realization of his imagination!

snowmans!

Packing that snow to make each of the snowman parts.
The snow was perfect for packing, so it got quite big pretty quickly!
'Take a picture Daddy!' he exclaimed.
The whole house with our snowy friend.
Now that's a good looking snowman, if I do say so myself.
A joyful son delighted to have made his annual snowmans!

goodbye, cousin

The two boys playing games together.  Tavish is very patient with teaching Ledger how to play a new game.
Playing with their new Kinetic Sand that Grandma gave them!
Friends forever!

having a bowl 2

The boys were thrilled with the chance to drive the carts!
Ledge kept saying 'I'm Mario!' as they went around!
Tavish was in the lead most of the time, but Ledge took him in one of the corners and showed him how it's done!

having a bowl 1

As we were waiting for a lane to open up, we wandered around the cool black light mini golf course!
Not everyone played, but everyone had a blast!
Nice form, son!
Being silly with the other boys- and enjoying his icee!
Watching the fun.
A happy family!

off to the cabin! 4

Playin' games and pullin' faces.
Aaron seems very confused as to how a camera works...
The annual re-enactment of the fabled 'Jeffry Lee Fall Down Go Boom' of 2016.
All smiles on the outside but crying inside as we have to say goodbye at the end of our trip.

off to the cabin: sporties

It was kind of weird- Sporties was packed!  There was an old guy singing in the corner so everyone must have come to hear him.
Jon and I shared a pizza.
Some of that classy bathroom art in the men's room at Sporties.  Such artistic skill!  This brought us much laughter...

off to the cabin! 2

Aaron brought his RC car up there!  It was fun for a few minutes, but then he drove it through some tall dead grass and it clogged up the wheels, which took forever to clean out.
Jon taking a load off after his heroic showing during the path cleaning.
Aaron chillin'.
Stoking that fire!  With Jeff still gone, Dusty took over the fire duties.  Jon's just trying to steal his glory...

off to the cabin! 1

The big meet-up at Aarons...
And then we're off!
Uh oh, that's going to make it hard to get to the cabin...
Team work makes the dream work.
Such a big help, Jon.  Our hero!

gingerbread house contest 2

Diana's completed house- what a beauty! (oh, and the house looks good too...)
Ledger's completed masterpiece!
Another good looking entry!

gingerbread house contest 1

surveying the whole neighborhood of gingerbread houses.
Ledger went to town right away with the icing!
They are starting to take shape!
The girls were trading decorating secrets and encouraging each other with each design choice.
