from the boardwalk they had built in the park you can see a bunch of them floating around enjoying themselves- see all those grey shapes in the water near the other shore? those are each manatees!
one of them came over to check us out! they are very friendly animals that love human attention.
here is a view of the park, the fense at the other end of the field is the boardwalk, its right up against the water and you can look down and see all the manatees from there.
