each year there are always attendees dressed up as their favorite characters just wandering around the floor. here are some of them that caught my eye this year:
i dont remember what this guy is called, but he's one of jabba the hutt's guards in the second star wars movie. it takes real dedication to wear this huge heavy get up in such a warm convention hall! that guy must have been sweating buckets!- but at least he looked cool!
with the 'g i joe' movie just coming out, i was not at all surprised to see a bunch of costumes of the characters from that show. the best of the bunch was this guy in the cobra commander gear. here a young indiana jones was walking up to get his picture taken with him. a strange combination, huh?
no comic book convention would be complete without a darth vader! this guy's costume was pretty good- he even had a voice changer thingy so that he sounded like vader. some people have way too much time and money to waste...
