Intentional atonement- the son's provision:jesus became forsaken so that we could be loved. he took our sins upon himself. his blood was poured out as an offering for us. though Christ's blood was sufficient to save the world, his father chose not to waste one drop. Christ's sacrifice is sufficient only for those who follow him. 'he loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.' ephesians 5:2
