out and about

the next day i figured we should take full advantage of the beautiful weather, so we headed over to the park!

diana and i the first night (taken just before i backed in to a tree... dont tell the truck rental company...)

one of the great places we grabbed a bite to eat!

diana got an amazing bucket of crab legs, potatoes, and corn on the cob- and it was amazing!

just enjoying the great food and the great time together!

every afternoon, after spending a couple hours on the beach, we came back to the room and enjoyed some sushi for lunch!

i know its not the best photo- finger in the way, eyes closed, but there's something about the way diana looks that i just want to share with the world!

such a beautiful beach and girl by my side!

one of the things that was kind of cool about the beach was that you could actually drive on it!  though, we weren't about to go trekking out there with our rental hauling truck!

i know, kinda wierd- a window in the dinning room.  but don't worry, the window leads to the bedroom!  ok, even more weird that before.  sorry.  but trust me, it was really awesome.

down to florida

the hotel we spend a few hours in.  we didn't arrive till 11pm and were on our way by 10am- we didnt even stay 12 hours!

the truck we would spend many, many, many, many... many hours in!

finally!  a quick stop at best buy fixed the headphone problem! and they are batman headphones- even better!

knowing we wouldnt see him for a while, i tried to get a great picture of him so that i could look at it on my phone when i was missing him.  here are the mixed results:

after going out in the backyard and getting all dirty, ivy had to suffer through a quick bath- wow, she looks so different when she's wet- no puff ball!

at one point in the afternoon, diana took ledger to change him.  while doing that she asked him if he was having fun and he responded 'more birthday!!!'

the girls loved the fun blue screen video camera that they could play with.

chuck e cheese himself showed up to celebrate some of the birthdays going on!

'choo choo!'  ledger has a blast on the little train ride.

so many games, so little time!  we filled the kids pockets at the beginning of the party with tokens, but they were soon empty!

auntie b bringing ledger right up close with the animatronic chuck.  our brave little boy wasnt even scared at all!
