we had a little bit of a problem with the plumbing, so nick stepped in and showed that clog who was boss!
while the girls were doing their haircutting thing, i showed off my dvd collection to nick. he was rather impressed and gave the dvd shelf a big hug in appreciation.

our waiter, joe (he's the guy the place is named after), was working the grill but still came over to help us out with whatever we needed, and he made the kids laugh!
