sail on, silvergirl 1

diana puts on the life vest they gave her.
she's now strapped in to the harness they used. it worked really well, it was almost more like a swing seat that we sat on.
i get the full treatment as well!
just about ready to be tied on to the parachute!
ready for our trip to the skies!

with the fishies 3

waiting to arrive at the edge of the coral reef.
we got pretty far out there!
after it was all over we headed back to the canopy to hear what was up for the rest of our time there.

with the fishies 2

diana sitting on the front of the boat with a bunch of other people who were on the trip with us.
looking over the edge of the boat at the beautiful ocean. this is the spot where we soon jumped about 12 feet down to the water...
enjoying the free boat ride!

with the fishies 1

when we first arrived we got a great view of the beach and the boats that were going to take us out.
before we went on the boat we had a brief meeting under this canopy.
on the dock, just before we got on the boat to snorkel!

room tour

a really lame tour of our room at the moon palace. i don't think i have a future as a tour guide...

sun palace again 2

laying out at the pool. we were a bit away from the pool side, but that was because i needed to be in the shade- i was not wanting to end the day roasty-toasty and burned red!
each afternoon the had activities for anyone who wanted to play, this afternoon they had pool volleyball.
diana happily bathing in the sun (i was cowering in the shade...)
cute, huh?

sun palace again 1

diana combing the beach for seashells.
oh! she found one!
back at our chairs.
the beach was just so amazing! the sand was really soft and fine, the other resorts down the way looked beautiful, and the water was so clear! there was even a nice breeze blowing through all day.

poolside lunch

the always beautiful diana.
me enjoying the always beautiful diana!
the workers were always busy preparing food and drinks for us.
the cooks are ready to make any kind of meat you would like. they even have some fresh decorations- here is a watermelon with a seahorse cut into it!

just hanging around

we stayed only a couple minutes, but you could tell diana had finally found what she was looking for!
swing swing swing goes the hammock!
i gave it a try to see what all the fuss was about, and it was actually pretty nice!

mexican italian 3

the golf portion of the resort had its own lobby and restaurants, this was the beautiful chandelier in their lobby.
the lobby of the golf resort.

mexican italian 2

diana enjoying our time here.
me enjoying my time enjoying diana.

mexican italian 1

diana and i on the patio having a seat before our name got called for the restaurant.
the italian restaurant itself was very nice, we even got a great two person seat by the wall and had a great view of everything.
we even got to see the preparation area where they made the final touches to the food before sending it out. what was pretty cool is that the italian restaurant was connected to the japanese restaurant, so they were preparing both types of meals in the one space.

the other beach 3

as the day went on it got a bit cloudy.
diana seems to have caught the attention of the local seagulls.
after cooling off, diana is ready to see what else there might be to see.

the other beach 2

we walked just down the path to the beach and it was beautiful! it was still just as seaweedy as the beach by us, but it still looked amazing!
we walked the beach up to the pool area by our place and we came across this beautiful courtyard area between the different resort buildings. the landscaping at this place was amazing!
we layed down on some of the chairs by the beach for a little while, diana wanted to get some sun, and i wanted to get some shade- worked out perfectly!
a look down the beach behind us as we layed out.

diana, pondering...
me pondering...
diana and i were the only ones in the whole place! which could have been awkward, but we didn't care- we were having a great time!
