being goofy with daddy!

bumper cars!  he didn't quite understand the concept of this one and was annoyed that everyone kept hitting him...

allegan county fair 2

he really wanted to try the bungee bounce, so i let him.  here he is getting strapped in.

bouncing high!

'look how high i can jump, daddy!'

he totally loved it!

allegan county fair 1

some of the rides were a little young for him, but he still wanted to give them a try.  this one in particular ended with him telling me 'that one was boring, daddy...'

he dug going around on the ufo's!

spin spin spin!  he loved it!

this one was a definite hit- he climbed up and lid down at least five time.

ah, this was certainly our winner for the day.  he ran up and slid down this one at least 30 times!

he liked this one, but it was a bit scary to him- it was really shaky and rattly!

first day of first grade

enjoying his waffles and watching his padpad as he mentally prepares himself for the first day of first grade!

after getting a normal picture for his first day, i told him to strike a silly pose.  he was certainly successful...

walking him in for his first day.

he found his seat and was chatting with his classmates in no time!

picking him up at the end of the day.  success!  he made it through his first day and is now officially a first grader!

i don't know why he seems surprised, he did it to himself!
