comic con 07 part 1
heres a bunch of pics from saturday when jeffry lee, rex and i went to the chicago comic con.
water tower
they are repairing the water tower in town, and it looks kind of cool. there were guys going up and down wires hanging from the spikes in the top earlier. crazy...
the sky
lately the sky has been looking really cool. so i took some pictures. here they are for your enjoyment.
my back yard
over the past couple weeks the train company has been replacing the railroad tracks in my back yard. it hasnt been a problem at all, they are no louder than the trains that pass through all the time. when they replaced all the wooded rail ties they just piled them up in my back yard. i thought it looked kind of cool, so i took a picture.
school stuff
here are a few pictures from the past few weeks at school. this first one was from the annual auction that the school holds. each year it is a huge success and regularly collects more than 100,000 bucks! this year there was a really great deal that i tried to bid on, but the auctioneer stopped the bidding too early- i would have gotten a really nice 7.1 megapixel camera for only $225! oh well, theres always next year...
this second picture was from our service day that we started this year. i went out with about 4 guys and we cleaned up a local park. it was a lot of fun and a great way to spend a day away from class!

i feel like ive been putting on alot of pictures of my new niece, and i dont want to have her brother and sister feel left out, so here are some cute pictures of them too!

after we got back from buying a wii, the guys and i figured we should document this monumentous event. what follows are the pictures of the purchase of the wii:

i finally figured out how to get pictures from my old digital camera onto my computer (thanks a ton to jeffry lee), so i figured i should post what ive got.
each year i decorate my classroom. i try to do something that i think is cool, after all, im going to be looking at it for the rest of the year... a couple years ago i put up characters from the comic book 'bone', last year i put up all kinds of video game characters (needless to say, they were all nintendo based...). this year i decided to go for superheros. here are a few pictures of what i made.

my parents got a new digital camera about a year ago. when they got it they asked me if i would like the old one. i said yes, even though i didnt have anything to load then onto (no computer at the time...). this weekend when i went home i decided to take them up on that offer, so now i have an old digital camera! im not sure yet if this computer will read it because my dad lost the program disk that came with it. so, maybe i wont have new pictures... but if it does work i will be able to put up some more current pics! heres to hoping!
