Chowing down on the buffet breakfast at the LABC.Big smiles and full plates before the big show.
Some of the strange traditions at the LA Breakfast Club.
Ledger chatting it up with some very successful animators.
Ledger didn't actually eat much, choosing instead to draw on his placemat, drawing the attention of the different animators in the room.
Ledger making friends!
This was one of Ledger's favorite parts of the visit! Showing affection to Adam for the fun time, Ledger held his hand as we walked back to the car at the end of the event!
Post Universal Bar
The place was pretty cool but not too busy. I guess that's to be expected for a Tuesday night, I suppose.Chow down, little fella!
A pretty cool place!

Universal Studios: The Rest
At the end of the day we said goodbye to Universal Studios and walked back through the Universal CityWalk, which looked pretty awesome at night!
They had a store there with tons of cool prop replica, including this crazy batman costume! They had a replica hoverboard from Back to the Future II, which is what initially grabbed Aaron's attention!
Exhausted, we finally headed home. What a fun day!

Universal Studios: Mario
The newest part of the park is the Super Nintendo World. The entrance is a warp pipe you have to go through to get there!
It was pretty awesome to see all the crazy Mario level style in real life! As you can tell, Ledger and Marge were quite impressed.
Collecting coins!
Bowser's castle!
A panoramic shot of the whole land.
Adam and Ledger weren't up for the wait for the Mario Kart ride, but Aaron and I wanted to check it out. The two of them headed back to Simpsons land to go on a ride and we made our way through the wait. At one point the line is on the second floor and we got to look out to see this cool view!
Only about a 20 minute wait yet!
Out front of Bowser's castle.
The huge Bowser statue in his castle.
the weird hat 3D thing you have to wear for the Mario Kart ride.
Our Kart awaits!
On our way down the escalators to Marioland we got to see the WB water tower in the distance- that's where the Animaniacs live!

Universal Studios: Hanging Out
After the Waterworld show we got a few snacks and chilled out for a bit.
The Universal Studios globe!
Next up we checked out the Minions area and saw Gru's house.
We checked out the Minions ride together.

Universal Studios: Waterworld
One surprising attraction at Universal Studios is the Waterworld Stunt Show. Who would have thought that a movie from 1995, that wasn't considered a hit at the time, would still have a hugely popular attraction almost 30 years later? It's surprising until you actually go and see the stunt show- then you totally understand why it's so popular. The stunt show is totally awesome! This was probably my favorite part of the whole day!In line to get into the stunt show.
Ledge and Marge, excited to see some water stunts!
This set is really impressive! The stunts were insane and the choreography made great use of all the different levels and parts of the set!

Universal Studios: The Lot Tour
One of the unique features of Universal Studios Hollywood is that they have a tour of the Universal backlot where they actually film tv shows and movies! Part of the tour was closed down while we were there because they were actually filming that day!
I had gotten a can of Duff while we were at the Simpsons gift shop, so we tried it out while we were in line. Its... not great. Basically it was just a can of orange soda. A little disappointing...
Part of the backlot tour is a 3D show, so we picked up our glasses while we waited our turn in line.
The boys and I on the tram, ready for the tour!
Aaron was double glassesing it!
We had to take an alternate path behind some of the sets because they were actually filming!
The courtyard from a bunch of different shows and movies- I mostly recognized it from 'Good Place'!
A watery village where Jaws comes out to pester us!
A mini Hollywood sign!
The tourist town set from the movie 'Nope'
After the tour I had to get a penny cruncher souvenir for my collection!
